my friend use to do this all the time when he has the integra. I do it in my tibby a few time. i only do this a few time, cause it is very hard to control in a FF. actually all u are doing, is u hit the turn over speed, than put your ebrake as u are about half way into the turn. the tail is going to slide out.

"Drifting" in a front wheel drive is not drifting, it is powersliding.

Get into a rwd and you will fully understand.

yeah if you mean powerslide then i raize me hand!

easy just put in gear and drive in a circle and use handbrake to push car into a great circle , just do it on frozen water and not on clear tarmac then you wreck your FF-drive and that cost tonn of $ *edit* + your gearbox

Woops! I stand corrected. "Powersliding" I have yet to understand if they're any advantages between "grip" and "powersliding" through corners. Is there any advantage to it other than looking cool? uzzled:

I've seen Jed drift.... he's not bad :

power sliding is damn fun in the winter (or rain)

also, auto's 100% correct. Drifting in RWD is SO much better.... I drove around in my friend's 93 240 again last night.... 8D MUCHO fun

drifting in a RWD is fun. and yes to be exact, drifting is not for FF.

drifting/powersilding is more of showing off type of thing. in road racing, if u have somone right on your tail, and u start to drift, the person behind can pass u easily.
i think is just something fun to do.

This last weekend on a road course, I went into a sharp 90 degree corner slightly too wide and too fast. The front wheels stayed on line, but the rear end came out slightly(power slide). It was a very small power slide in that it only lasted for about 25 feet, however my lap time on that lap was half a second slower!

So yes, it looks cool, but it REALLY does slow you down especially in an underpowered car.
