Please tire peresure for the 1/4 mile, and track. On the street i run 35 psi in my yokohamas, that is just what they call for. I dont really go off-road so i dont need that presure.
quarter mile you'll need to run a little less in the front and a little more in the back, THis increases tire grab in the front and reduces drag from the rear. When autocrossing which I'd assume would be very close to road courses I found that 40-42psi best in the the front and 37-38psi in the back. But I'm using a 5 door GT where the rear hops up ALOT compared to the GLS. So I tend to keep my rear low to increase grip in turn. Anything lower than 40psi in the front will really be bad on the stock tires. They roll very bad onty the top part of the sidewall. I'm still trying to prefect that. I find 42psi works best. and about 38psi in the back. But the average above is what most of us Elantra guys use on stock tires.

I would suggest the same PSI's with the Tibby and the Elantra.

Last night at the track I ran 35 psi in the rear and 20 psi in the front. The car was awsome. Next time I go I will let the tires down to the same psi.
