Default Best way lauch an automatic Lantra

Ayo guys, I just want to know what the best way to launch an automatic. Since I now have tranny cooler and changed the auto filter also added some BM tranny fluid. Next all I need is a better torque convertor and I'll be hanging with the 5speeds. But anyways for now can you guys give me ideas on how you lauch your cars using a auto?

if your gonna doing what Odess says, make sure you ONLY do it for no more than 2-4 seconds!!!!! otherwise you will overheat your transmission!!!! but it is the best way to launch an auto. you'll get better at it as you do it more.. :rambo:

If you are at the track, time the tree.

Basically, autos lag and you need to anticipate the launch. You press the gas (or release the brake) at that exact moment before the light turns green. You will probably red light a few times but you will gget better at it.

you can't release the brake...the parking brake is disengaged when the car is shifted out of park.
