Default Need some help

I was gonna take my 1994 Hyundai Excel and make it into a auto x car, what do i need to do and get for it before I start racing? and is there any events in the northeast? Thanks

I think there are a few avid autocrossers on our forums and they can help you out.

I'm thinking that you'll only need a helmet (snell 95 and higher) and a saftey check to autocross at sanctioned events.

You'll want to decide on what category you want to race in.

Start with a stock car. Once you're a better driver, then upgrade your car.

Money spent on drivings schools will drop your times much, much more than money spent on mods.
