Ok, my first reaction to this was "WTF"! Who is posting pics of Scott's car on here claiming it as their own! Well what do you know, if it ain't ole Chris himself
I also posted the first weekend in the Southern Pacific forum for folks. I didn't realize we still had that flyer out. Good thinking!

To bad I don't live in Vegas anymore - that looks like a good way to start. Free is always good too!

I would like to give it a go this spring/summer, but I'm not sure on the classes? Basically what mods are allowed in what class. It seems like you have to buy the rule book to get the full skinny.

Currently I have aftermarket springs/struts and will be going to a larger swaybar and new rims and tires. I guess that would put me in street prepared? That kind of sucks to start off in because I won't even be competitive as a noob.

The Hyundai Tib's and Elantra's look so cool when autocrossing because the the rear tire lift they do. I got a 4 point Sparco racing harness in mine and last year with the intake and exhaust, plus rear sway bar I pulled out 23rd out of 174 cars. That was my highlight of the season. This year if I'm in the top 50 I'm happy. When I go its awesome to show up and have everyone walk up and ask me "Are you the guy with the Hyundai that goes on three wheels?" Its pretty funny. Good luck this season, and if anyone is in Western Washington and wants to meet up visit the link above for a calender, and gimme an e-mail. Peace!
