raise rpms to about 4k, pull clutch out ( not quite all the way) to prevent total wheel spin. After about 2 seconds i let the clutch out all the way, floor the gas pedal. At this point im at about 5k rpm and climbing. I then press the clutch in partially while still at full throttle and pop it out quickly. rpms jump to redline and i powershift to second. It all happens rather quickly.
on my old civic hatch i used to launch with the rev limiter bouncing (stage 4 clutch


and just rode on the clutch until i shifted.
