Default Seat Heater GB!!

Hey everyone. I've been running a group buy over at RDtiburon.com for a couple weeks now and thought I should share it with the rest of the Hyundai community.

Ive been in contact with a couple seat heating companies over the last several weeks, and finally found one that I liked, and that also happened to give us the best deal. These heaters will work with any car and are virtually unnoticeable. They are purchased one seat at a time, so if someone just wants the drivers seat, thats not a problem.

EDIT: I was at the Hyundai dealer today and found a catalog of install options and found out that hyundai dealers install these! same exact kits! but for $900 :ermm:

Here they are:

(included high/low/off switch):

Included in each Seat Heater Kit:

2 carbon fibre elements (12 inches wide x 21 inches long)
1 round dual temp hi/low/off switch
1 wiring harness over 7ft long from "Y" split to "Y" split
12 zap straps
10 adhesive strips
1 year warranty or 30,000 miles which ever comes first
all necessary fuses, thermostats, and relays
Instruction Manual

As you can see, it would come with everything you would need for heated seats. Also, a warranty is never a bad thing to have. The instruction manual not only tells you how to install them, but also how to correctly trim them. I say that becuase if you notice, each pad is 21 inches long.... and well thats about 2 in. longer than the bottom of RD seats are, and Im sure other hyundais as well. But they ARE trimmable. Also, all of this will need to be wired, and they assure me even if you have very limited electrical knowledge it can be done. After I get my seat heater (which will also be in this group buy) I will make a DIY for those who are still unsure.

As of now, with the RD people already in, the rate is as follows:

1 seat $75 SHIPPED
2 seats $150 SHIPPED and so on.

IF we get to 50 seats (about 25 people) we hit another price cut. the prices will then be $135 for 2 seats and $68 for 1 each of those prices again including shipping! (not including 3% paypal fees) LETS DO IT!!!

This place is cheaper than anything Ive found BEFORE they gave us a discount. In fact, if you can find someone that has an advertised lower price, theyll beat it by 20%. Feel free to look for a better deal, but many people have already tried.

I am planning on ending this GB on the 1st of March!! If interest here is large however, it may be extended.

If you would like to be in this group buy, please post how many seats heaters you are interested in. (each seat heater comes with the bottom and back pads)

If you have any questions, first check on RD ( http://www.rdtiburon.com/forum/showt...5&page=1&pp=10 ) becuase many questions have been covered there, otherwise just post them and i will get back to you with an answer as soon as i can!

they most definately will. they can be installed the same way on any car and trimmed to fit any seat pattern. where it gets tricky is the wiring. it comes with everything you'll need to wire the heaters themselves, including fuses. the only tricky part will be tapping a power wire or running a new one through your firewall, and even that is not very challanging. I will being a DIY after i get my heaters as well (which will be in this GB)

any other questions? feel free to ask!

i could probably give you until the 7th, but any later than that might be pushing it. I know i didnt get it posted on this site until the 16th so that wasnt much time, but the one on rd has been going for a month and a half so I want to tie this up pretty soon. If there was more interest here I was going to extend it a bit, but you seem to be the onle one! haha just let me know man
