True that there's a lot of kits out there. Some are good and some not. We've been in business for a long time and don't sell cheap stuff. Yes the kit is more expensive than a kit that has only one year warranty. If you need a part we always take care of our customers and it's free.

If you need to buy a part out of warranty it can get expensive very quickly. So yes, in a way you pay for that quality and peace of mind of being covered.

This is probably the only way I can actually get your attention.
I'm not the only one with this problem it seems like.
Here is another post I made at another forum...

Xenon: I purchased the Katsuro kit with lifetime warranty about a year ago, with the optional harness. The entire kit stopped working suddenly. I sent it back on August 23rd to you...been a month since then and I haven't received it back yet. Also sent the harness back to u in case that was the problem. Isn't that the purpose of having warranty? In case something like this did happen, I wouldn't be inconvenienced with this long wait. Had to scramble to find the factory bulbs otherwise I would not have been able to use the car. Your communication isn't up to par as it use to be. Common dude, give me the service i paid for.

Thanks

btw, ive emailed you TONS but it seems like ur just too busy to get things going.

i'm not the only one with this problem it looks like. heres another forum with guys who all seem to have the same problem as i do.
w w wDOTlegacygt.com/forums/member.php?...798#vmessage798

please advise.
Since you decided to make this a public thing, I'll respond here so I can post my side of the story.

First, Let me tell you that I decided to help you and did the testing myself instead of having you shipped it to Apexcone like most people from all retailers have to do for warranty.

Here's what you sent me. A box that was packed without any attention to possible damage, bulbs laying there unprotected etc...That's your responsibility.

You even have a missing wire as indicated in one of the pictures. Still, I used the harness and all other parts possible and the kit works. To my surprise I have to say because when I saw the way you packed it I was sure something was broken. But no. All is fine. I wrapped your bulbs for you BTW for the return trip.

So the problem is on your side. The kit is working perfectly. Both bulbs and both ballasts with your harness or another work perfectly.

Let me know where you want me to send your kit back as you haven't provided any return address.

Oliver

I'm sorry but if the kit works when tested, then obviously the problem is on your end. The warranty covers the parts and they work fine. It doesn't cover other parts of your car nor your install. And if you want to have it checked by Apexcone we can do that. They charge $10 for testing non defective parts. I don't.

i'll be ordering a kit from you soon,

ever since my old hid bulbs started flickering and blew, i went back to silverstars.

i'm looking to get a crystal white, 4 bulb HID kit soon, possibly a bi-xenon kit

BTW:i see alot of hid seller's on Ebay submerging their hid bulbs in a bucket of water, with the bulb on, would your 's stand up to such a thing?
