Default Tibby Suspension

How hard is the 2001 tiburon suspension compared to say a corvette or dodge viper?

well i've never driven in a viper or corvette so I don't really have a base for comparison. But over all I think the suspension is sporty enough as it is but also forgiving enough to be comfortable.

I heard that the suspension for the tiburon was co-designed by porsche.

IT's lotus.
this is the direct and offical word from Hyundai ... and I quote ...
<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>And here is something you might not be aware of: its [Tiburon's] sports-tuned suspension was co-developed with the legendary exotic sports car manufacturer, Lotus. <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=1 id=quote>

You can find that in the "Good Things to Know About Your Tiburon and Hyundai." booklet.

The tiburon's suspension is considerably softer than a Vette or Viper. As a dealer to take a test drive in a used 1999 or newer vette, and you will see what I mean. (getting a test drive in a viper would be a tad harder).

The suspension design is rather remarkable, but the springs themselves suck really bad. Those things bounce like hell!<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
