|Check tirerack.com, they have reviews on tires. personally, i think kuhmo is your best bet, they match the performance numbers of the big boys, have a better wear rating, and usually cost about 20 bucks less.

tires are all personal opinion, trial and error is really the only way you can find the perfect tire for you. i have nitto nt450's and i love them but i'm thinking about trying out a set of toyo proxes. also i've heard alot of good things about kuhmo ecstas.

I'll say stay away from Yokahama Paradas. They are "quiet" on the road (no road noise) but they don't have as much dry cornering grip and straight line wheel spin grip as I was hoping for/expecting.

I'm going to try the Kuhmo's or the Falkens next.

Tires are indeed about personal opinion. As in everything else, perofrmance has it's price. Dunlop's SP 8000 are fine, they don't last too much, but, who wants to get a tire forever?

I am really thinking of putting Toyo Proxes T1-S on next spring, I have four Toyo Observe X-10 coming for my snow tires and then I am upgrading to 15" wheels for next summer and I do seriously think these are the tires i am getting:

I dont know the specs, but they sure look good. I ride on 15" wheels, but my my wife's car, another Elantra (and her sister has one too ) runs on the standard 14". I was thinking about the Goodyear Eagle F1. Any Suggestions?
