Default Winter Performance

I can't stand the Gsi stock tires in the winter. They are useless. I need lots of grip, I couldn't drive this past winter like I could in my last car. I wanted to buy a set of Nokian Hakkapelittas, but they are $157 Canadian each and then the cost for winter rims. Ouch. So, I really was just wondering what opinions were out there on what are really good snow tires.

Is there a sweeter sound than a high-revving engine?

Blizzaks are the best I've ever had in the winter. Better than even "Snow" tires.

i've never tried the "Nokian Hakkapelittas", so I can't compare the two though.

The tires you mention are MUCH cheaper than the Blizzaks in stock accent sizes though!
