Default Re: Gots to lower my Accent... which springs?

well i already ordered them... so $200 shipped will have to do.

I will figure out how to install them... sounds like fun... Everything always seems to work out when I get advice form people on the boards.

beppomarx: I am going up to my friends house to install them in his garage, so hopefully it will be like 60 degrees!! Not this cold ass 20 degree iowa sh!t.

I looked into the KYB GR-2 Struts and i think they were like 55 each for rear and 75 for front, so about 250 plus shipping.
Im still debating whether or not to get them now, or later... you know... My car only has 13,000 miles on it, so i figure the stock struts would last a while.... And I'm only going to drop it about 2.0" in front and 1.5" in back.
But then, i could hit 2 birds with one stone if i do it all at once....
AHHH! Hard decision... Im kinda strapped for cash, but i could afford it... you know....

What if you used the Arospeed/Weapon R Coilovers with Pedder Sport shocks in the front and Whiteline Sport shocks in the back? The Pedders only come in comfort gas for the rears, and whiteline has no front shocks available yet. If you were to use the KYB GR-2 struts how long would they last versus stock (twice as long maybe)? :ermm:

I was wondering, I'm desperate to lower my car too, but I was searchin eBay and found some coilovers for a 98-03 Elantra for 9.99, and I was wondering if they would fit my 2001 Accent L? Or if there's like a cheaper kit than shark racing's $405 kit?

From his profile he sells these alot, and most all of his feedback is positive. If I had some money in my Paypal account i'd bid on them, but I don't .:disappointed: I also found a place that sells these for $170 plus free S&Haranoid: they don't have any currently in stock though.:ermm: I'll post the link when I get home.

They are fine i think. Im not going to keep these coilovers though. I'm going to go a different route. You will need new struts if you get these...
Im selling them for cheap, but i think they have already been sold..... if the guy backs out im going to sell them on here.
