Default lowering springs... questions =)

Ok I'm going to be getting some springs for my tibby and I have some questions to ask.
Ok so we have:

eibach with a 1.2 drop

B&G with a 1.5 drop

H&R with a 1.5 drop

intrax with a 1.8 drop

My questions are:
I'm going to be leaving my stock rims on for atleast awhile, so will all of the above work with them?
Which are the best?
Will I hit bottom with the lowest at 1.8? And where can I find them to buy online?
Thank you

i believe people that have had them have said to avoid using the intrax springs
over all i would tell you to go with the eibach springs ... a 1.2 drop might not seem like a lot but it will be lower than you think on your tibby. also when you get springs installed make sure you have an alignment done on your car directly afterward. and a camber adjustment kit might be something that you'd want to look into getting along with the springs.

try www.tirerack.com and see if they carry springs for the tiburon, which i believe they do. they might also have the camber kits.

I've heard that H&R is made by eibach. Is that true and do you recommend them? I've also heard that intrax is not the best choice. I just didn't want to get the 1.2 drop and not be able to notice a difference.

you will notice a difference with the 1.2 drop.
I dunno if H&R is made by eibach or not.
Hopefully we can get someone more qualified than me in this post to better answer your questions.

Hey Redshark,

I'd go with the Eibach... oh wait I DID - LOL!

It's a noticable drop and the guy from Tirerack was very helpful.

TiGgEr is right on with the "get a wheel alignment" but just not right after.
You should drive the car about 1 week to let the springs settle and then get the alignment.

Also the Eibach with 1.2" drop does not need the camber kit, at least not on 2nd gen tibs.

PS Your car will look sweet with those white wheels!

for you best quality for your money the Eibach's are the best ones you can get. You can corner and handle like a mofo with those things on.

REDSHARK-

THE RUMORS REGARDING AVOIDING INTRAX IS RIDICULOUS. I HAVE 01 TIBURON WITH A 1.5 INTRAX DROP KIT WITH LOWER SWAY BARS. ON THE OTHER HAND A KID IN OUR CLUB HAS THE SAME CAR WITH A EIBACH 1.2 DROP KIT WITH THE SAME SWAY BARS AND THERE IS NO COMPARISON TO HANDLING OR JUST OUT AND OUT DRIVING FAVORING INTRAX THROUGH AND THROUGH!

GOOD LUCK

Sorry, it seems I sent a previous "nothing" by error. I wanted to tell you about H&R, it's an independant brand, it makes OEM for Porsche and other fine european brands, it's high quality, I think same as Eibach.
I got H&R springs for my Elantra (1997) and it's good, rides firm but not harsh, lower too. I'm very happy with them.
