Trying to get or find 19's on captive rotors is gonna be chore all within itself. As far as installing them with air, there's alot you'll have to do, such as cut our fender wells, and so on. Reason for this is because when you dump the system and your car lays flat, the car will basically be resting on the top of the tire/rim. Not good. Do a search on ther forums for this. I've posted a few things about it and what needs to be done to fit 19's on a tib. But first and formost...good luck even trying to find 19's that will fit your car, due to having captive rotors.

I know about the captive rotor problem. I planed on doing the converstion that is on the main page with the accent but on my tiburon. So basically i have to cut out the fender wells? That sounds kinda big. I didnt find anything in the search i guess i dont know what to look for.

It's not as big of a deal as it sounds. A lot of people do it when they lower their car real low, so your tires rub when you hit a bump.

Im running 215/35/18 with H&R race and koni yellow inserts. Drop was about 1.75". Tires chunked a bit with a rolled fender. i think 19's are not the way to go if u are concerned about chunking.

97-98 Have captive rotors and then the first couple batches of 99's have captive. Then mid through 99 they came equiped with non captive. 2nd Generation Tibs are all non-captive. I believe that is how it goes. I don't really know any benfits of having captive rotors. But the benifits of non-captive is its easier to take your rotors off and you have a wider selection of rims.
