Default accent brake rotors

im looking for anyones experience or suggestions/recommendations for aftermarket rotors for the LC accent. ive called a few places and searched and even found a post that said i had found rotors already for my car. which i think i may have came across somewhere in the past but i cant find anything, i cant find a saved link anywhere.

hp.com doesnt list anything yet and im looking for slotted only. i called irotors and left a message maybe they have some but i called a few other places to no avail. well except stock rotors anyway. i dont know anyplace that would slot and balance them though.

please let me know of anyone that can get me new front brake rotors thanks

Did you want to try and use the Tiburon front break assembly? I don't think anyone has done the swap, but if you're up to the challenge and want to be an innovator why not give it a shot.

As long as you can get some wheels with universal bolt pattern to fit both 4x100 and 4x114.3 you'd be set at 14" or larger.

no sorry i should have explained myself a littel better. sometimes i dont realize how fast i change direction.

i need rotors and pads and i only have like $170. so im not doing the swap im just gonna get what i absolutely need for my car to be functional and just get SS lines and upgrade the fluid in another week or 2. :ermm:

but i need brakes really soon so it cant wait and i need to order something and put these on hopefully this weekend. :nervous:

edit

actually if anyone wants to sponser me and give me some rotors and pads id spend my money on the hubs and have pictures and a writeup or something. even put your name on my back window

i still need something by this weekend though... X)

try kvr! they may not list anything but if you e-mail them i'm sure they can help you out!!

red_agt i would like to see that swap too! but i think it'll be awhile before anyone does it due to the different bolt pattern! i was going to do it myself, but the universal bol patern on my wheels is not so universal!!

KVR has some cross-drilled/slotted ones for the LC, but they're $175 EACH CAD which I think is more than you said you wanted to spend. Their stuff is good, but they don't really make "stock" replacement parts... pretty much all their stuff is more performance oriented and pricier than stock.

I'm running factory rotors with Axxis Metal Master brake pads. They are extremely good pads, but leave a nice amount of brake dust in daily driving(accept for my car because of my brake cooling ducts!!).

are there any difference between the GS and GL among the LC's?
KVR lists rotors for the GS but not the GL - $130
irotors just got back to me-$119 + shipping
