Hello there, anyone know of a definitive source for sway bars, front and rear for a 2001 Elantra? Also, I recently surfed into a site that fully explained the rear strut bar install into an '01 Elantra. Anyone know where that is? Thanks in advance <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
Hey Ralph, found something for us at hve autosports in Australia.
Its for a rear swaybar only, but maybe it'll help. It's $205.00 Australian (about $105.00 US).
Anyway...here's the link, www.hve.com.au/catalogue/j2lantra/catalogue.htm
Hey...another thought...if you have a GLS, and you want to upgrade your front as well, try getting the 24mm factory swaybar for the GT model, as they are supposedly the same chassis. If anyone here knows different please set me straight. Hope it works for ya! later

Guys, your cars are XD models, that bar is for J2, the previous model so I doubt it will fit.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/disapprove.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Yep, I knew that<img src=/images/forums/snitz/cry.gif width=16 height=16 border=0>
Thanks 2002, for trying to help and Brock for checkin on that! Good luck to us!

Hey Brock, Thanks for setting me straight.. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/approve.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
I'm pretty new to tuning as far as Hyundai is concerned, and will
need (a panel of) experts to help me get the facts.
My 'pologies Ralph.. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/uhh.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> ..guess we both keep looking huh?

hmm, interesting. I've been told ONLY the REAR sway bar is different. The GLS has a 13mm unit while the GT has a 14mm unit. Not worth spending the money. I'll have to check it out later through the parts catalogs.
No prob!<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0> I know, really. For some of the mods, especially if you're new to tuning, it's good to get many opinions so you can find what's right for you!. SuprGTR, if you see anything, please let us know! TIA<img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Try contacting whiteline to see if they will make them.
They do make them for the old tiburon/elantra
www.whiteline.com.au
Maybe if you got enough "pre-orders" in, they would consider making them.
