Default Springs

Hi, I have an LC2 (2003 4-door accent with 1.6 liter) and I am looking for lowering springs, i know shark racing has some, there own and B&G but i looked on Hyundaiperformance.com's shop and they have intrax lowering springs, but the highest they go is for the 1.6 2002 hyundai accent. But i saw on another tuner site somewhere that intrax makes springs for the 1.6 2003 accent. but i was wondering sinse they are so close, could the 2002 1.6 litre accent springs go on to my 2003 1.6 litre accent? and one more little question.... About how much would it cost to get the springs installed? because i dont have a spring compressor. but i could do it if they dont need a spring compressor. :rambo:

I dunno about the fitment, everything is still set up the same as far as I know.

I would imagine it will costs around $100 to get them installed. And btw, you can rent spring compressors from autozone, pepboys, or a place like that. You don't always need a compressor, but it's the safer way.

OK, so ill probably rent a spring compressor from like Discount Auto Parts.... because i will need my dad's help doing this and theres a Discount auto parts like a mile from his house. But anyways my big question, Does anyone know yet if the springs for the 2002 accent will fit the 2003 accent? i called Hyundai Performance, and they said to just keep checking on the forum and if it is true they will change the heading for the intrax springs to end on 03 instead of 02. does anyone know if there is a way to contact intrax about this?

a tip when doing the spring compression even tight both sides. when you turn the one compressor to tightin then go to the next one and tightin that back and forth. its a safe way to do them without getting hurt cause if you tightin too much on one side and not on other it can start to get unstable.

Ok, i have alittle light to shine on this subject, i looked around the forums and came across someone talkin about a cool hyundai site, so i looked at it, and saw that they talked about dimensions and such, but anyways i looked at the 2002 hyundai accent dimensions and the wheelbase is 96.1 inches, and the 2003 hyundai accent is 96.1 inches, so they have the same track and as a matter of fact all of the other dimensions are equal to each other too.... so is anyone thinking what i am right now? that the suspension is unchange, because everything is in the same exact spot....? so that would mean the 2002 accent suspension and the 2003 suspension are the same? does anyone have any input on this? i know the struts can be different, but right now it seems unlikely because all the dimensions are exactly the same.....
heres the link to the site where i found the info:

You could call the local hyundai service department, and they should be able to help you with this.

According to Eibach's site, the springs are the same. for lc and lc 2
