Default Elantra Front rotor replaement

Does anyone know the procedure for changing front pads and rotors on a 99 Elantra? I have started changing the pads and rotors on my Elantra. Pads were easy, but the rotors won't come off and I don't know why. Can anyone help me?:ermm:

Use a hammer, sledge or 2x4 and then beat them to death to get them off. There is a chance they will break but that is normal. I am not joking either. The rotors rust solid to the hub and are almost impossible to get off. The guys in California don't have this problem so pay no attention to them when they say they come right off.

If you have a 99 to 00 Elantra you have to look up for 99 to 00 Tib or 01 and Elantra for Brakes ONLY. The idiots running hmaservice.com show the captive rotor for front brakes for 99 & 00 Elantra, which is WRONG!!!

Jmontigny is right!!! They are just stuck with corrosion. Spray or soak penetrating oil on the back of the rotor, there is a open area where the wheel studs can be removed. Let it soak for a while and try again. I would tap the hat part of the rotor, both flat part and sides, while spinning it... good luck!!!
