Default alternator to smalll!!!! what else will fit any one please help

Everything I've read suggests they'll fit...just wanna make absolute sure before I drop the cash and order the tires.

And I know the speedo will be a little off...I just don't really care. :

Actually, the speedo will barely be off at all. It won't make a noticeable difference to you or the car. 205/50s are almost exactly the same diameter as 195/55s (the stock tires).

Yeah...I think it's like a .3" difference. I actually wish it was a little more difference, I want lower profile than the squishy feeling stock tires. Oh well. I'm not going 40 series again...that was just punishment on New Orleans roads.

Yes, they will fit.

But no, it is not a good idea. The rim is supposed to be WIDER than the tire, that way the sidewall's don't buldge, and they won't flex on cornering.. and won't do all the things that a tire shouldn't. You will see these problems if you put 205's on the tib rims, at least that's what Shadohh told me when I asked him (and he has 205's on his stock tib rims.. not good he said though).

Yes they will fit, but they run like crap.

Dont do it.

stock alloys are 5.5, 205 is ment for a 6+ wheel

195 is bare min for 195, really should have 185.

Maybe the aussie get 6 inch alloys, I dont know.

But its not fun having 205s on the alloy.

I have never seen a tire manufacturer recommend a 5.5 for a 205. its always 6 is the bare min.

agian, they will fit
but you will have lots of problems

they will lose air quickly, and will nevr stay balanced and you will feel floaty at high speeds. and they tires wear funny.

I though the 99 FX came with the 15x6 wheels that were standard equip on the 00-01 models?

Yeah, they should be 15X6. They seem the same as the Elantra GT.
