Default Brake upgrade for 1997 SOHC Excel (Accent)

hey people,im just wondeing,if i could put the brakes from a Lantra onto my excel? i know, those car's come out wif the 1.8L motor, so im right in assumeing that the brakes are slighty larger if i was to swap them over, would it be a direct fit? no modification needed? if i cant do the swap, wot do u ppl recommend me doing to the stock brakes to improve performance?i already have a pair of good brakes pad's in which im going to use,wen the car is turbo'ed.

Thks for ur help people
