I've been looking into air Rides for a while now and done my searching on this board and I got 2 Unanswered questions.
1. I just want to know how much a complete fast system would be for a 97-99Tiburon. Air Rods instead of Air Bags (Vizion I've been trying to contact you about this for a while now but I guess my e-mail is FUBAR)
2. Could you use NOS tanks instead of those normal air tanks? and would 2 10lb NOS Tanks do it? Reason why I ask this is because I've read in my searcing that people have used Scuba Tanks before.
Thanks

Are you just using the NOS tanks to hold the air, or do you intend to use Nitrous Oxide to pump/dump your air ride system? Because I never heard of that either.
I can't see a reason why you couldn't use a NOS tank to hold your compressed air. Would just be a matter of getting the proper air fittings at the nozzle. Not sure how it would perform either.
Nitrogen is a gas used by competitors who air hop their cars/trucks. Not sure of all the details, but it somehow flows better than compressed air and maks your air system way faster.
They use nitrogen b/c it's more compressed then air so when comes out it has more force which will raise the car up faster. Plus with a nitrogen setup you use a different valve to regulate pressure you can go from 150 psi to 600 psi which will make it a lot faster. Most bag setups that run compressor and tank and regulated at 150 psi.
The only problem I would see with using your nos bottle if your using it to run nitrogen then that would be ok. But if your looking at pumping your compressed air from an air compressor into you'll have to have shop weld in a bung and attach an air fitting to it. Then you would have to find out how much psi you could put in it without problems. I've seen people put 300 psi in there air tanks on trucks and you can actually hear them stregth b/c of the excess psi going into them. This isn't safe at all.
The one problem you'll run into if you run only nitrogen you'll get tried of paying someone to fill it up everytime you run out. Or you'll run out and won't be able to lift the car at all. IMO I would run both a compressor and a nitrogen setup that way you'll always have air but when you really want to show off you can get out and connect the nitrogen to make it hella fast.
Also they use helium to make there cars faster it's supposed to be even more compressed then nitrogen.
Its a qualified yes. It would be pretty simple to set up. A T fitting at the nozzle. At one end of the t fitting, you would run your compressor into, at the other, the bottle, and the last, another t fitting that would branch out to 2 more T fittings then branch out to your valves. Not sure how well it would perform though and you probably won't get much play time. I have 2 three gallon tanks and I can only air up 6 times before my set-up starts to slow down.
