Default Can slotted rotors be turned?

Well, that's the question. I'm going to upgrade to slotted rotors and better pads. And from my understanding, these "better" pads (regardless of brand) aren't going to last as long as stockers. A price I'm willing to pay. However, when changing pads, rotors are usually turned if they have enough life left in them to help the new pads "bed" in. So, can slotted rotors be turned and still be usable and effective?

Can they be turned? Yes I don't see why not......the cutting rock will skip the indentions like the cross drills and slots....I wouldn't so it though....me personally I'd just keep replacing the pads!

What do you mean by "better" pads? Are you talking about race pads or just a better brand and compound? Race pads are not usually better and for the average driver, they would not want them for every day driving.
