Default is anyone using metallic brake pads?

i need to change my brake pads soon and am looking to get metallic basedhigh performance items. what do you guys use and recomend?

you might want to look into ceramic pads. they are low dusting and they are quiter. this helps if you have aftermarket wheels.

I used to have Bendix Metal Kings and they were pretty good. They were very dusty but I could still get them to fade fairly easily after 6 or so hard stops, spose most road pads you can. Im using Kevlar EBC pads at moment, not as good but heaps less dust. If you want some for track use that you can use on the road id probably get some rb74s from Performance Styling Centre.

I'm using Hawk Performance pads I bought from tirerack.com. I can't think of a SINGLE complaint.

They stop great...and after 30,000 miles still have about 3/4 pad left. I'm curious to see how long they'll last now that I got drilled/slotted rotors though. :ermm:

I had a set of Axxis Metal Master pads on my 2002 Accent. They worked VERY well for autocrosses, worked better once you got a bit of heat in them, but had a decent amount of brake dust when driven around town.
