Default KYB GR-2's paired with Eibach springs?

Can anyone give me any input on this setup? I'm willing to change springs, but I've already ordered the GR-2's so they are definite. The H&R's I hear are nice, but I want my struts to last for a while, so what springs should I get if I want them to last? Thanks.

You're sure that it will last long enough to be worth it?

I have KYBs and the H&R springs on my car, and I love 'em. That combo's been on the car for about 7 months so far, and they're great.

i have Eibachs and KYB's. Overall I have been pretty happy. I can tell the Kyb's arent going to last too long though. I have had them on for about 3 months and 3k miles and they are starting to wear a little.

Its a pretty soft set up, so make sure you trim your bumpstops.

I've had my KYB GR-2's on the accent for about 30,000 miles now, and they're pretty much shot as far as performance handling goes, still fine for driving though. They arent completely dead, but I'll need new struts before autoXing next season. Remember, I have an LC with X3 eibach spings, so I'm dropped 2" with a softer spring rate, meaning the strut has to do more work.

IMO, this setup really isnt stiff enough for me. I'm planning on going with Koni yellow inserts and LC eibach springs over the winter, since I'm going to be trying to break into autoXing pretty hard over the coming year or two, as well as a few track days.

Now for the average person, this setup works fine, but I'm just looking for something stiffer for racing, damn the ride (to an extent).

If I had a tiburon, I'd go with the H&R cup kit springs and struts.
