Default Major Suspension question - Camber Kits

ok, yes i have searched both HP and TEAM SR, and I have gathered most of the info which I already knew... I see many just suggesting, get this and get that cause I have that, but there are 2 kits on the market and I really need to know what the differences are...

we have:

<b>Eibach Recommended Align. Kit</b>

Alignment Camber adjustment +/-1.0 Front or Rear fitment. $25 In Stock
But <b>no pictures</b>, if anyone has any pictures of the kits that they bought please post them, RUDY??? please tell me what they look like and does the $25.00 include something for all 4 wheels???

And we have: <b>ALIGNCRAFTS</b> camber kit

http://www.aligncraft.com/parts/3541.htm

I already have this kit in my front wheels, when I installed my B&G's, and it still looked like I was getting wear from my inner wall of the tires... maybe since my shocks gave out like 1 month ago that could have been the cause, but not sure just how good this kit is... it is more expensive at <b>$44.00</b> for the pair, and supposedly now they claim the same kit should work for the rear, so in total is closer to <b>$90.00</b>... so you see why I ask...

I really need to know this and any help is appreciated, I have my "true" coilovers arriving soon, once customs lets them through, and I need to have a camber kit installed at the same time, so please I ask for help...

thanks in advance <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

thanks man, but if you look the kit is exactly the same one that ALIGNCRAFT sells... so my question is the EIBACH kit, is it the same one? if so what do you get for the $25.00 bux, I know rudy has it and I'm waiting hoping that he posts pics or answers...

now i just read something else in that post from INGALLS...

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>These parts are not designed for installation on vehicles with suspension and/or steering systems modified for racing, competition or any other non-standard purpose...<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote>

Will this mean i can't use them for my car???

Probably not for harsh racing is what they mean. In other words, putting too much stress on the bolt. I wouldn't worry about it.

I saw that they both are called FastCam. I guess another company makes them and Ingalls and Aligncraft distributes them. Sorry.

I have looked everywhere for pics of the Eibach kit too with no luck.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/disapprove.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Oh yeah, you can also go to www.carparts.com and get the Eibach kit there cheap if you find one of their coupons on the net. They have free shipping, 15% off, and an illusive 20% off. Just browse the net for one and get the code.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

yea like nyne said the eibach kits are 2 bolts also. mine didn't have that plate like the ingalls kit though. the $25 will get you front or rear.

So from what I can gather, all the kits have relatively the same bolts. The difference is the price. Ingalls is $34 and Eibach is $25.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0> Hmmmm, which one to get?<img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Rudy or Nyne, you both mention you have the bolts and Rudy mentioned you don't have the plates:

<img src="http://www.ingallseng.com/parts/fastcamclipped.gif" border=0>

therefore that means it is the same kit, except that Eibach doesn't include the adjusting plate, which from what I know it's needed, if not how will you do the adjustment???

well I guess I will order them from INGALLS and hopefully everything will be ok, like I said I already have the front ones, I just need another pair... More and more I keep wondering just how good a setup like a bolt and a plate is??? <img src=/images/forums/snitz/oogle.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Here's the rest of their diagrams...

ok i pulled out the good old camber kit and on the bolt there is 2 washers and one has a little tab thingy sticking off it. there is a little extension on the bolt about quarter of the way down that keeps those washer from going down any further. i'm guessing those washers take the place of the plate with the ingalls kit. also in the directions it doesn't say anything about needing a plate it says that for negative camber place the bolt facing away from the wheel and for positive camber place the bolt facing the wheel. hope that helped.
