Default how do you detach the rear brake lines?

I'm trying to swap out my stock struts for a set of coilovers...but I can't quite figure out how to remove the brake line from the strut in the back. x.x

And They came with these 'little black wrench thingeys' as someone else called them, that are supposed to somehow attach to the brake line to keep it out of the way...but I can't figure out how. ^^;

Should I have just taken it to a shop to get it all done? Any help someone could give me would be majorly appreciated.

Ah, figured it out. Was a U clip type thing. Which was roadgunked bad enough that I couldn't tell that that's what it was. O.o

Still no clue how to mount the lines though.

put the closed end of the black wrench thingy on one of the mounting bolts connecting the coilover to the knuckle.

on my rears, i just bent the u-shaped clip a little more so that it was securely in place with the mount for the line.

for the front, i ended up bending the open end of the black thing around mount for the front.

zipties work too.:smoking:
