Default Removing hub from 96 elantra

I know this may be a dumb question, but I'm having a real bitch of a time removing the hub from my wifes elantra to replace the rotor, am I missing something here??? I already have the hub nut off, and the calliper and everything I've taken off every other car I've ever worked on, but I'm used to american cars, so any help would be good,

Ah. Captive rotors. Ten kinds of demon to remove. You'll need to take the assembly off, and use a hydralic press or something.

Or~r! you can get the assembly from a newer tiburon/elantra, which does NOT have captive rotors. And have a much larger selection of wheels and such. And be able to change rotors on your own. ^^

Screw the hydraulic press I made my own press using the bolts that hold the rotor on, and I used the rotor to push against while it was still on the spindle, worked like a press only simpler, and cheaper, anyone needs to know how, just let me know

after searching for a few minutes I decided to try the slide hammer route. Pulled those puppies off like a champ. I just hope I didn't harm the bearing races or anything when I zipped them back together with the axle nut and an impact gun. Time will tell.
