Default RD Tib front/rear disc-setup onto S-Coupe or Excel?

has anybody adapted the 4-disc brake brake setup from a tiburon to an s-coupe or Excel?

I believe i'm going to be picking up a 93 Excel, and before i start going crazy on the engine work, I want to be able to stop on a dime

I figured that upgrading to the brakes on a tiburon would be a pretty good start, then get some better pads and slotted and/or cross-drilled rotors

what would be all involved here? i would need all the rotors, calipers, pads, possibly new bearings in the rear? new e-brake cables for the rear.... anything else?

any help here would be greatly appreciated.

also, what is the bolt pattern from a tiburon. 4x100 or 4x114.3?

i have no idea what would be required, but i can tell you the bolt pattern is 4x114.3

the only problem with upgrading to a car with bigger brakes is usually that the stuff is just bigger, so it is a lot heavier. weight added wil be unsprung weight, which is 10 times (literally) more important than regular weight. adding say, an extra 10 pounds to each corner from the bigger parts will be like tacking an extra 400 lbs. on to your car.

well, I can't imagine the parts would be THAT much heavier... but either way

with what i have planned engine-wise, I'd rather have a bit of extra weight for much more stopping power
