Default Lowering ?

I was wondering what you Accent guys are doing for struts when you drop your ride. I was thinking about 1.5-2 inch drop and I know the stock struts can't handle that much of a drop.

I converted my stock sealed struts to servicable struts and dropped in some adjustable shocks inside.

Without ever having used them myself, I would say they LOOK nice... in the pictures I've seen. Couldn't tell ya anything else without driving on them or knowing any other specs on them, like damping range, bump/compression damping charts, stroke shortening or not, longevity, linear or progressive damping, etc...

Me personally, I like to build my own coilovers so I have control over every parameter possible, so I don't have to settle for something that is "designed for street with track in mind". I'd rather have a setup that I can easily swap between full race or comfy street, which is what I run on my AE86 corolla. Sleeves aren't a bad thing when set up correctly, and can provide far more flexibility than a set of full coilovers like the kSports.

That being said, I would not try to deter anyone from getting a set of ksports... they appear to give the buyer what they want, for a good price. It just wouldn't be what I would look for personally.
