Default Loose suspension?

Okay, my suspension is feeling loose again. I cant find anything loose under my car except the front sway bar. I can easily move it left to right (wheel to wheel) and has a travle of 1 3/4 inches. Is this 1 3/4 inch travel normal? is it supposed to move so easily? The rear doesnt move to much so im thinkin the front shouild be about the same.

Are your sway bar endlinks tight? Me thinks you should not have that much side to side movement in the bar, if any.

I'm also getting loose suspension and pull but i have the ksport coilovers and a bad exhaust flow that might throw off momentum on high speed cornering. Anyways, i think it might have to do with tire pressure or you might need a alignment.

Your exhaust won't make any difference.

Where are your K-Sports and tire pressures set? Alignment specs?

I got them aligned at the shop and they also adjusted the cambers. The thing is that it was handling real great for a while and then a month ago after installing the underdrive pulley it started to handle wierd, i could feel less response like it used to have when taking corners. And my tire pressure last time i checked was 40PSI in the front and i didnt check the rears yet but it might be like 25-30PSI.

40psi is way too high for the street. Hell, on course I don't even run that high. And if your rears are at 25-30, your car should be pushing like crazy. Set the pressures to 34 front, 32 rear and see how it feels.

Do you have you actual alignment specs, or did they set to factory?

When you installed your pulley, did you disasseble any of the front suspension.

Ill try the tire pressure you suggest. The alignment was done by a computerized system, so im guessing it aligned it to the way my car was sitting at the time, which was having very bad toe and couldnt go over 35 and turn fast. But after the alignment the handling was the best. I had the pulleys done at a shop, but they didnt take any suspension parts off.

If you had it aligned on a computerized rack, then they probably set it to stock specs. That will be fine for now.

Try the pressures I gave on the street. If you go to an autocross, then you can start raising pressure, but it's not worth it on the road.

If that doesn't solve it, go back to the alignment shop. Dave and I get our cars aligned around once a month, and it always needs a little tweak here and there.
