Hey guys just looking through your info and maybe i can be of some help... fellow mirage owner. Your correct on the models and info mirages summits and colts have same bolt pattern with rear drums... your summit esi is hard to find. Besides the summit there is one more car ib the states that carries your 4 x 100 bolt pattern and has rear discs but is hard to find. Your awd galants 89 to 93 with the 4g63 and carry duel piston calibers.stay away from mirage front calipers arent the greatest. The aussies have it easy. to some it all up

mirage models in states have rear drums
but evo1 through 4 all carry four wheel discs
galants awd 89 - 93 have rear discs and great calipers
and was 4 x 100 with decent sized rotors stock rim size was 14's
colts and summits both had rear drums except esi summits
summits also had a mini van model that had all drive...

if you have ne other dsm questions let me know im more then happy to answer if i can

So...for the X3 people, myself included...since the X3 Accent has 4x114 bolt pattern:

The Galant AWD 89-93 has 4x114 bolt pattern and has brakes that should bolt right up front and rear? Or at very least rear disc brakes and do a Tib conversion in the front?

Could we please get a list of parts we'd need specifically to swap out the rear drums to Mitsu discs?

Any help on this would be awesome, as the brakes on the X3 are poor at best and I'd really like to be able to do this as a safety factor if anything. (hehe and I'd get some nice wheels too)

If we can get a complete donor parts list, I'll do a full write-up with pictures.

Sweet stuff!

What about the fluid though? Is the system set up going to take kindly to the new brake style? Or does it matter?

I was just thinking, I mean this could be a really stupid idea but. Is it possible that the 07 accent's rear discs are more of a perfect swap into the accent? Maybe being able to order them through a dealer instead of digging around for junked out ones? Or is this logic flawed.

Its possible but I doubt it would work because the 07 Hatch has a rear beam axle and the 00-06 had IRS I doubt the stub axle is the same but hey you never know... I would still go with whats proven... Plus ordering stuff from the dealer isn't cheap. It would be very expensive to get a complete steup from the dealer.

Can anyone help us out here, a reference to another how to, something? The search feature isn't working to well yet I think. I believe there was a how to somewhere but I cannot find it!
