Default Wheels

I have Dodge Colt 1991 which is basically a Hyundai Excel, therefore I think my question applies to this forum. I purchased my car couple of weeks ago, and was very impressed by the wheel/tire combo and the bolt pattern of these cars, which I belive is the same on the Hyundai. I belive 155/75/13 is not suitable for normal driving especially fast driving which I am very used to. The question is what cars have the same bolt pattern and better tire/rim combo, that would not cost me "an arm and a leg"? Since I am looking into purchasing a set at local junkers. I think something like 195/50/15 would be great or is it to big?

Default Re: Wheels

That should work fine, however if I am not mistaken I believe the OE tire size is 155/80/13 or a 22.7" tall tire stock. A cheaper upgrade would be to 175/70/13 tires, but not as good or cool looking at a 15's. Bolt pattern should be 4x114.3, offset in the 38-44 range.
