Default LC Brake a yes or a no please

I've done a search and I can't understand a thing here. Will the brakes from the tiburon 97-99 fit to the LC? The front brakes only. Please don't tell me for the bolt pattern. I don't care. A simple yes or a simple no. Thank you guys

They should, but why would you want to get captive rotors and have half the car with a different bolt pattern. Wheel choices would go from nearly infinity to next to nothing. You should be fine with stock brakes, even with 160-170whp (per your goals in sig) with upgraded pads.

The front rotors are crap. They are the worst rotors in the world. This is the second time they broke. I've tried every single pad in the market. I've overheated the disc. Sparks, flames, red disc .. you name it. I'm not planning to change the rims. I like them. If the tiburon's brakes fit, I'm going for it..

The 242 which the accent uses is a paper brake. Too weak.. I bought the tiburon brakes today, I'm changing the rims tomorrow with new 15" dual bolt pattern and next to come rear disc setup from the tiburon as well. With 257 front and 257 rear and a tiburon master cylinder my teeth will fall off when braking.. and that's what I WANT!

Oh Yeeess. I just took my car from the shop. New rims and Tibby front brakes. Believe me.. it stops!! No more paper 242 LC brake.. The ABS is off for now, until I modify the sensors to fit exactly above the abs ring. I think of using the tib's axles as well. Will they fit? Anyone try that before?
Here are some pics...

Before. Old wheels, LC brake

Old disc removed

Tiburon's brake system installed

New rim with tib's rotor!!

Rim and rotor closeup.

Tell me what you think!
