Default captive rotors/wheel bearings and slide hammers... reinstall?

I used the slide hammer approach on a 96 elantra with captive rotors to replace warped units. When I installed the hubs back on, I just used my impact gun to seat the hub. Is this enough or should I have used teh slide hammer to completely seat the bearing?

My issue is that I am hearing quite a bit of noise from the front of the car, but It may be due to the fact there are new tires on the front and not that the bearing is loose. I don't know because I didn't drive the car before I pulled the hubs with the new tires. So I am going to rotate the new tires to teh back, and that should give me a clue.

Just wondering how you have installed the hub with slide hammer removal.

Thanks,
-J

you need to use a press to do this properly. the bearing needs to be pressed evenly in order to seat properly.
