Default Is It Easy To Install Slotted Disks On An X3?

Hey all, I'm about to buy DBA or KVR slotted Disks for my Turboed X3 and i keep hearing that you need some stamping press to get captive disks on or something... Do I really or can i use something else to get them on? Will i be able to install them myself without the press or should i just get a shop to put em in for me?

Perfect time for an upgrade. Get hold of some front hubs/rotors/calipers of a non captive coupe/lantra. Few tricky bits like removing the driveshaft nut and disconnecting lower ball joint. Bigger dia rotor plus in the future you will be able to just slide the rotor off the studs or upgrade further to a grandeur setup.
The X3 will require new bearings as they most likely will be damaged when its pressed off.

Its definiteley not a DIY job unless you have a hydraulic press at home. I payed the guy at the autoparts shop who sold me new bearings and rotors somthing like $40 to R+R.
