Default Mussa Rear Strut bar install on "04" Elantra 4 dr

Here is the part I ordered:

Fold seats down and remove four bolts (12mm socket and ratchet):

Remove side seat cushions (one bolt each side then push up to remove):

You will the strut mounting bolts. Remove grey trim piece in middle: (Be careful, these are those trim panel push-in plugs. Don't lose or break)
[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Remove side panels on sides of rear window. Use a panel or trim remover tool. It pulls the plugs out without breaking anything. THen, pop out the third brake light, and disconnect. Now you can either pop out the rear panel, or move it just enough to install your bar. Here it is installed:

And sides:

There you have it. About 1-1.5 hr to install. ( depending how brave or experienced you are) You need: 12mm socket, 3/8 drive ratchet, extension about 4 inches, screwdriver, #2 phillips screwdriver, trim removal tool.
