hey floyd,

just to let you know the kyb struts are oem replacement they are not an upgrade. the other company that makes springs for the accent is B&G but they only come in 1.2 or 1.6 inch drop

I have just a front strut bar, 2 inch B&G drop springs and KYB struts and it made a world of differance. My ride feels pretty stiff but I have nothing to compare it to besides the stock set up.

I've never had any suspension upgrades on my past cars so my Zenns are the first. I have to say, I like them. They aren't super stiff though so you might not like them. They grip well, give a reasonable drop (1.5" approx.) and won't rattle your kidneys out of you. They are a good balance between ride and performance.

But like I said, not super stiff so maybe you wouldn't be interested.

PS: They were like $100 after s/h

i DO have Zenn's on all four corners..just 2 kind's of strut's

i have monroe sensa-trac's on the rear and GR-2's by KYB on the front.

the diffrence is a more sporty suspension feel than a racetrack car feel,

when i tackle a corner..the car roll's but barely and i can feel the responsiveness.
the ride still manage's to be benign and no jolting of the whole chassis when i hit a pothole.

in other words..lowered spring's and KYB's are a good choice for budget conscious accent enthusiasts..

they ride well and handle terrific..
while they ain't as stiff as coilovers..it has both handling qualities and ride qualite's..best of both worlds..

if you want to take it a step further..a swap bar set could enhance the handling.
