Default Shaved rotor stud heads???

I got a 93 latra(same brakes as almost any hyundai) with the capsulated brakes and I want to shave off the stud heads that goes to the brakes so I don't have to use the spacers on this new set of wheels I got(so the wheels have more of a seat).
Are the rotors threaded or are there nuts on the backs of them?? If there are nuts on the backs of the rotors I could shave the nut heads off one at a time and weld them to the hubs. I know you will say I will ruin the hubs cuz I couldn't change the rotor studs(since they would be welded) but I can get new hubs for 20 bucks a pop so I think It would be worth it.
Would this Idea work??
