is there going to be any foreseable issues with the strength of your bar at all?

heres what i did yesterday. im going to add a piece in the middle to connect the 2 bars, so i think it will be a lot stronger

Probibly has a plate with a hole in it that fits around the strut stud and it is secured with a nut. If you look closely it has an end cap on it that covers the nut and stud...

I have make my own bars as well.

i welded a washer on the bottom end of the bar where it mounts so that you can take the strut bolt off, slide the bar on, and put the bolt back on and the bolt holds it down.

I think he's trying to find out if it's 1 bolt or supported by more.

Putting all that stress on 1 bolt is probably not a good idea.

o, i see now. it will be held on by 2 of the bolts, the middle and the rear one

no i was just asking how it mounted with that piece of pipe. and you answered my question. i was just curious cuz it looked like it just sat there. mine is just a piece of square tubing and i flattened the ends and drilled a hole. its worked for a year now lol.
