Uhh what are these...any good? I can't imagine since full coilovers are in the $1000 range.

seem's like a decent alternative to the full coiovers..

you simply replace the strut mount and slide in the coil over sleeves,

that way, you can adjust the height and the spring tension..

i think if you order from weaponr you can specify a rate, those over konis would rock, but it'd cost as much as k-sports which rock more.

remember, the harder the spring rate, the more demanding it is on your shock. my intrax springs are too hard as is for my kyb shocks.

I bought some like that only they weren't that brand and they were incredibly chincy. I would not recommend that perticular setup. The spring are about 6 inches tall and the perches seemed like they would snap in two under a real load. But like I said they were not this brand so maybe these are better. I ended up selling them because they really didn't look safe to use.

they were the first springs I had on my accent

the springs are too stiff for any damper to control besides maybe the konis.

Car rode like it didn't have any dampers at all pogo stick style. If you could match them with a good strut then i'd say go for it. If you can't i'd go with a conventional lowering spring and leave it at that.

The height adjustment on them wasn't that great. At full height the car was still almost two inches lower than stock at full down you couldn't even turn the front wheels.

For the price i'd go with something else or just save up and buy a ksport or equivalent full coilover with camber adjustment and adjustable shortened dampers. Then you will still have some suspension travel.

i would not recommend these either.. first springs i had on my first accent.. they are so stiff that the car just bounces around... i don't know what kind of winters you get but don't plan on driving with these if there is snow on the ground... DEADLY combination!!!!!!!!! car spins out way to easy even at slow speeds... DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

i switched lowering springs.. handles better and nice softer ride...

^^^ I almost killed your sister and myself that day when I borrowed your car to pick her up... the shit slides uncontrollably, right into the path of a truck! Luckily your ebrake worked, or i'd be buying you a new kit and/or rims + control arm.

And then I took two from you and stuck them in the Pony between my leaf springs and the frame! I didn't learn the first time!

It's good for going around a turn, except you have almost NO warning from when you're about to loose grip and send the car spinning out. It almost happened to me around an onramp in the rain... I had to point the front into the gravel so it looses traction too, and hope that the back end slows down faster than the front end, or else i'd be facing the Ryder cube van following me up the onramp. There's very little room for error with these, but if you DO get a nice drift going with it it's... just awesome.

But for a FWD car, unless you like your martini shaken (and stirred), do not get these. Keep weapon rice amongst the 17 year olds driving mAd TyTe (yo) civics.
