Very sorry for your loss. Don't worry about any of this stuff until you're ready. It'll still be there when you want to work on it again.

Thanks for the words, the whole thing is just f@cked up. It all went downhill so quick. He was full of energy on new years eve playing board games and BBQing some brauts(sp?), the best he had looked in a while cause kemo was jackin him up. The doctors were liking what they were seeing so far. 1 week later he had his 16 year anniversary and it just went wrong after that and he was in the hospitol cause the cancer was coming back. A week later they found out that his sister from the midwest was a perfect 10 match for bone marrow donar, finally a light at the end of a tunnel but it was not to be. He passed away on the first, buried on the eighth then celebrated his sons 4th b-day party the next day.

Wow, I'm really sorry. That is really sad. I wish there was something more constructive I could say but I don't think there is.

It looks really thick that's for sure. Looking at the pictures I'd say 3/4"?

I got around to testing out the bracket and the 4 bolt holes and spindle hole lined up perfect. The holes for the caliper were off a little bit but that should be an easy fix and I hope to have new brackets to test b4 next weekend. The thickness of the brackets are 3/8 of an inch I believe.
