- 2001 tiburon rear calipars
- 2001 Tiburon rear brake lines
- 2002 Honda civic rear rotors, needs to have center hole bored out
- 2001 Tburon rear brake pads
- 8 short bolts 4 long and 4 lock washers
- 2 Custom made brakets
- 2 calipar bolts that attach lines to calipars it they don't come with the calipars
Step 1
Remove all stock rear drum parts, making sure to save lockwashes off of dust sheild, and hub
Remove brake line from drum pistons and cap with 1/8 cap.
Step 2
Attach bracket using the 4 small bolts and the 4 lockwashers from the back sheild of the drum brakes.
Step 3
Put on hub and tourqu hub bolt to 85 foot pounds
Attach non movable part of the calipar the the bracket using the 2 longer bolts and disk from civic.
Put dust cap back onto hub
Step 4
Remove shims and install pads onto non moveable pads
Step 5
Bolt banjo end of brake lines to calipar using the calipar bolts and copper washers supplied with brake lines
Step 6
Remove old brake line from steel line and then attach new Tiburon lines.
Step 7
Attach calipar to non moveable part.
Step 8
Do other side
Step 9
Refill brake reservoir to max fill line
Bleed brakes one at a time
Top off brake reservoir
Step 10
Put wheels back on and your done
Tips
If you tap all the holes it makes the bolts go in easier
Paint always adds a nice touch
Since im from Canada my car is metric, and the bolts i used were 10M x 1.25 x 30mm for the small bolts and 10M x 1.25 x 40mm or 45mm
I still have the pattern for the brakets if you want to buy the brackets insted of making your own.
There is a clip on the E-brake cable that holds it to the stock shield
If you do one side at a time then you only need to buy one cap
