UPDATE AS OF 8/10/2007. OK, THANKS TO ERIC (VOODOOXTC), WE NOW HAVE A PERMIT. IT IS HUGE, AND THERE ARE 92 PARKING SPOTS. IT IS GROVE#1 CUZ THAT WAS THE ONLY ONE AVAILABLE. ALSO, EVERYONE WILL NEED TO BRING A COUPLE BUCKS TO COVER THE COST OF THE PERMIT. ERIC, LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED ME TO DO. I THINK THAT WE SHOULD MEET THERE EARLY.....WELL, AT LEAST US, SO WE CAN GET EVERYTHING SET UP AND BE PREPARED FOR WHEN EVERYONE STARTS SHOWING UP.....SO I AM THINKING MAYBE MEETING THERE AT LIKE 10:00AM AT THE LATEST....BUT I AM WILLING TO MEET THERE EVEN EARLIER. The original poster of the Midwest Gathering Thread is having family problems, so I am creating this thread so it can be updated on a regular basis, seeing as how I am on all the time. You DO realize that this is the same weekend as NOPI Nationals?! (hint: it's the largest import car show in the country!)

We've got a bunch of people coming down to Atlanta that weekend, including some from New York.

Why don't you relocate this to Atlanta, and join in the fun?

Several RDTiburon.com members, admins, and mods will be there.

I just think it's a somewhat difficult event to try to go head-to-head with. You might get more involvement if you do it on a different weekend (or join the rest of the country in Atlanta for NOPI Nats!)
