Default Jed is coming to New York

On aug 3,4,5,6 I will be in New York. I want to meet up with anyone who'll be free those days... one day will be spent looking around (like, statue of liberty, empire state, etc) and the next day ill probably have to go shopping with 2 girls (SO SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM THIS!!) then we want to hit up a club or two. Who knows the hotspots? Stuff to do? We want to find a place that has good knockoffs of shirts and shit like that (purses I guess too, obviosuly not for me) Fill me in peeps!

Default Re: Jed is coming to New York

I just got back from New York. I got a knockoff Rolex at Battery park at 6 o'clock PM. There were all kinds of knock offs there. I got offered some in China town, but the prices were a little higher. Also at the New York library I saw all kinds of letters written by the founding fathers of our country(US)...If you get into this type of thing. Everything else was great also, but those were the little tresures that I found, that I think most people miss.

Oh! Get a week long subway pass (good for the bus also) and save alot of money. Everyplace was safe compared to New Orleans except Harlem.

Have fun shopping:

oh yeah if you like wax figures I think Maddam Tssueads or whatever the hell you spell is near times square...Id hit up central park, and head down towards tribeca, south street seaport, town hall in the world trade center district. Do go any more north than central park otherwise you'll end up in harlem. Dont accidently get on the FDR, I made that mistake and will never do it again.

The city is overrated, come out to LI I'll show you the beaches and the hamptons and all the awesome sh!t there is around here. including white castle!

lol tibbychick..city is overrated..LI is not the best thing for tourists lol..unless they like to get lost or get bored.

if youre going with girls soho is your best bet..then chinatown..lil italy..central park..you should also walk around the seaport.should take a ride on the staten island ferry to get a great view of the city/brookyln/jersey/statue of liberty. check out the museums if you like that kinda stuff..time square is fun too..just dont walk away from the light..lol you will be experiencing some red light districts! clubs/bars/lounges are mostly at midtown on (23rd st - 59st) Basically any club/lounge you go into is bound to be a fun time.

The city is not overrated if u are from someplace else... there is no where else in the world like NYC.... I have lived here all my life and there is always sometrhing new to do.... my best adive is decide what u wanna see and how much time u want to spend doing what.. this makes things easier because u can kinda map ur way around rathere than going uptown and down town and back and forth...

i would recommed the Jeckyl and Hyde restaurant.. havent been there in a few years, but it was alot of fun last time i went... time square is a great place to hang out .. plenty of things to do.... Mars 2112 is a great place to eat, so is WWF, ESPN..there is an adult arcade there too.... I cant remember all of the names of the places.... But LI would be a great place to stop by too for the beaches, but thats about it for LI... check out all the sites in the city... if this is ur 1st time... u will find plenty to do...
