Break Maintenance

Hello All,
I have to do Break Pads change to my Elantra. Can anybody suggest a good mechanic (Not a dealer) with reasonable rates in and around Rockville or Gaithersburgh - Maryland.

I had very bad experience with MTB Service Center when I did 60k service. Those guys don't know how to put removed bolt back. Because of that I had to spend another 200 dollars more with dealer.

Why dont you get it done @ the dealer if you're scared of service?

Their work is warrentied and backed up, but you're paying up the ass for it. If it's just brake pads, and maybe a rotor resurfacing, you can get it done @ Meineke for like 100 bux. You can do it yourself for cost, and it's not ahrd at all, but you should resurface your rotors.

Ok I know I am not that great at the grammar/spelling thing myself but don't get break pads installed. That sounds dangerous and expensive. Try brake pads.

Just about anyone who does brake work will turn the rotors for you. As long as you have another car to bring them over in. Some auto parts places also have the stuff to turn them, but not all. Call around and check the prices.
