My daughter just purchased a 2007 Tiburon. Of course, she wants to go faster. What are upgrades to computer available, Air induction changes and any other advise. She drives my 928 shark like a pro and she now has her own thankfully a 4cyl, so please help.
No ecu upgrades unless you have the $$$. Grab a nice intake system for it and free up the exhaust. Thats about it. If she wants real speed, forced induction is the way to go. The Beta 2.0 responds extremely well to boost. Low psi will equal large whp numbers. A 200 whp Tiburon is a fast car, and you can get there in under 10psi. Still very safe and reliable. But you will be looking to spend from a low of $500 for the basics and do-it-yourself stuff, to $3500+ for a prefessional kit and tune. Most of that $500 will be for the dyno. I turboed my buddys car for $30. Junkyard turbo from a mid 80's chrsyler, $17, junkyard BOV $15, and we clamped the return line on the fuel rail. It ran 13.6 in the 1/4 mile. it was a 91 VW 16v swapped GTI. It ran 14.4 on spray, and 15.0 NA.

I thank you for the info. I can get Dynoed close to my home. We do that stuff alot with 928's. Now, where do I get these items. Please point me to either the sites or places to get these parts. She, like me likes speed. In our blood you know. I await your reply
