August 26th is the annual Lemay Open House and car show from 9-5. Nancy and her late husband Harold show their car collection and have other car collectors and show cars come each year to have a good time. Cost is 10 bucks a person and this includes show cars.
If we want to do this, lets meet at my house at 7:45-8:00 AM that day to go to Marymont.
The Lemay show is at 2 sites: 1 at the house and at the Marymont Academy in Parkland/Spanaway area.
Easiest way is come to my house (I live about a mile from Marymont and 10 blocks from the house) and follow me to Marymont. When we come in as a group, we can park together. Tim and I went in together last year and spent the day there. Unlike HSR06, this does not have awards, but it is a gathering of car buffs who show off their cars. Last year there were about 7,000 spectators and maybe about 200 car collectors in addition to the massive Lemay collection (over 2,000 cars).
