First of all, I have 221 pictures up on my Photobucket but I'm obviously not posting them all here so if you want to see more click here:

On our way to Mt. Rainier

Loaded pretty much as much as we could be. Some people were impressed with all the stuff we can fit in an Accent, even with the 15" SoloBaric

Couldn't take pictures out the back window while driving so I tried another method

With limited success

Ok, now I've got the hang of it I think, at least kind of

Seemed to work better if I didn't try to hold it up too far

Yes we're cruising along at about 55. lol.

There he is back in his lane finally

The road was awesome, too bad we were following slow people and couldn't even go the speed limit

I need a shorty antenna

Me and the wife in the LC2, busy_squirrel in the LC, Sharkrocket duo in the Gk and our couple friends Amy and David in the Silverado bringing up the rear

It's a fun road to drive at any speed, and a beautiful place also

I took a picture of some Asian tourists taking a leak. Because I could.

We stopped there later to get gas and some junk food. I got a text from Wilbur and he said he wasn't gonna make it.

So we continued on, getting closer to the park and gaining elevation steadily

Got to where we could see some snow when we were within a few miles of the park

And...we are in the Park. Behold the mighty Nisqually river

Some people are more excited than others...maybe too excited...

Around these parts this is a hill

We didn't bother washing the car ahead of time

Sharkrocket got some nice new wheels for the red GK

We're an odd bunch, but we'll have Amy and David purchasing a Hyundai before too long

I and my e-brake know nothing about this black mark

Stuntman busy_squirrel recalls his days in the circus defying death by walking over a 60 foot overhang

Now for the driving tour up to Paradise on Mt. Rainier

My favorite part of the mountain

Closeup of 15-20mph marked corners typical for the majority of the park

There were a lot of tourists there but only one group had zero regard for messing up your photo opportunities. The Asians. But oh boy did they get pissed if you got in their picture...

See busy

See busy climb

Climb busy, climb

It's worth climbing out there though for the unobstructed views

In the end pretty much everyone went out on the ledge to get pictures. I went and I'm deathly afraid of heights. Oddly enough, I'm only afraid of man-made heights. Natural outcroppings etc. don't bother me.
