Default Has anyone in Washington or Oregon done a Beta swap?

I am looking to do one, but the only issue I have is the motor mounts. I was just wondering if some one lived in the area i could swing by and check it out and chat about it.

The mount positions are the same. It is a bolt in swap. I did one a couple years ago for a customer who had a bad motor and I had the beta in the shop lying around.

You really don't need to weld it. I've made one out of 2 separate mounts.

cclgthr, i have moved since we've last met. Was a long time ago. I live down by exit 39 in kelso area. Yea if you could explain on how to make the mounts that would be awesome. I know it a direct swap, but what everyone has said about doing the swap, they had to re drill the mounts. Which I am OK with, its just the pass side where they said they had to modify one.

What I've done was use 1/2 of the alpha mount and 1/2 of the beta mount. The two pieces should go together with the bracket.
