WA dyno day - Hyundai Performance Forums

On Oct 13th 2007 beginning at 9 AM at Fairlady Motors in University Place a group from northwestkiatuner.com is organizing a dyno event and meet/geet.

So far, Floyd, Wilbur and I commit our cars to be dynoed.

Anybody else in the area want to participate?

Dude i cant wait to Dyno my car, Ima ask to see if i have a buddy who would like to stop by. He has a Carbed 16v GTI. It runs 13's so it should put down some healthy numbers.

I want to get a baseline number for my car. I would like to see if there is a difference in my white HD from the red XD I had even though the same engine is in both cars.

If i had my turbo set up done, then i would have to say yes. But since it not, im going to have to pass.

My buddy will come if he can borrow the car trailer that weekend. GTI isnt quite street legal.. lol

Just a reminder:

Dyno Day is on Saturday. Starts at 9 AM at Fairlady Motors. The shop is just west of Fircrest on 27th. Center St/Regents Blvd turns into 27th on the west side of Fircrest town limits. 2 blocks west of that area.

My predictions - all measured at the wheels:

Myself - 2003 LC2 Accent 1.6l with I/H/E (120k miles)
81hp - 80lb/ft

Wilbur - 1997 J2 Elantra 1.8l with I/H/E and SAFC
111hp - 114lb/ft

Other people should post their predictions and/or their mods for other people to guess.

Oh I wish I could go!!!

but alas...no money!!

oh well maybe next time, I am for sure gonna put it on the dyno once I get my engine, cai, header and whatnot added on to the car!! I cant wait for that day to come~~

Besides I think my grandpa is taking me to the zoo!!!!

I also have 155k on my car, and some SERIOUS blow by. Intersting what the car will do. I should put on a fresh tune..

I got 112 at the wheels with my XD. I am guessing 117 on the HD.

The shop is at the end of the road on 69th from 27th. It is in the blue buildings. Owner prefers cash.
